Grand prix weekend
The big one, and the hardest weekend of the year to do cheaply. Hotel rates in Doha roughly double, the sprint format puts a competitive session on Friday night, and the best grandstands sell out section by section rather than all at once.

Book the room before the ticket. For this weekend that order matters more than which seat you end up in.

Driving times are taken from map distance rather than measured by us. On race day every one of them is longer, in the same direction, for everybody. How to actually get there is a page of its own.
